Other Dental Extractions Instructions

1. Keep dentures in for the first 24 hours.
2. Remove the dentures and rinse them off carefully.
3. Replace the dentures immediately.
4. After the first 24 hours after surgery, remove dentures 4-5 times a day to rinse them off but replace them immediately. Do this for one week.
5. Use your finger tip to gently rub your oral tissues and rinse your mouth each time you take the dentures out.
6. For the first week you will wear the dentures 24 hours a day.
7. After the first week you will only wear them 16 hours a day or less.
8. Eat only soft foods for several days.
